Sony have been extremely busy with their new digital photo frame releases and hence it too some time for the new S-frame range to make it to our ears, looks like. Two new models released under this range, namely the XR100 and the VR100. The former incorporates TruBlack technology for improved playback. This, along with the VR100 is offered in a 10.2-inch rendition. The rest of the models are said to have screen sizes with the range of 7-inches and 10.2-inches. There are a total of ten new models released by Sony. The XR100 and VR100 support AVCHD video playback with surround sound and are like to be the top-of-the-line frames. Also incorporated in the frames are features like the all-in-one DPP-F800 photo frame/printer, a free engraving service (on online orders) and an all new S-Frame D830L portable photo album for easy sharing and viewing.

The new range of Sony’s S-Frames will be available from October onwards. No word on pricing as of now.
