Entering the iPod dock bandwagon are the two new sets from Sony. The first one is the ICF-C1iP, which is a clock radio with an iPod Dock. It comes with a wireless remote control that allows you to access the iPod’s menu, as well as to radio tuning and volume functions. Obviously it charges the iPod while it’s docked. The alarm clock can be set to the iPod, the radio or a buzzer. The clock automatically displays Eastern Standard Time, which easily can be changed to other time zones. The unit also has automatic Daylight Savings Time adjustment, eliminating the need to reset the clock in the spring and the fall. The second offering is the boombox ZS-S2iP, which has an integrated CD player.

Sony’s ICF-C1iP Clock Radio will be available in either black or white. Both the ICF-C1iP and the ZS-S2iP will be out in August for $100 each.
