Sony Vaio W series netbook

sony_vaio_w.jpg Sony Japan has taken the wraps off of the Vaio W series netbook. To be made available in three colors white, pink and brown the netbook is powered by Atom N280 processor at 1.66 Ghz, 1 GB of RAM all running on a Intel 945GSE Express chip set. Other specs include 160 GB hard drive, 10.1 inch display supporting a resolution of 1,366×768 pixels, Card reader, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and a webcam. The unit measures 267.8×179.6×27.5 - 32.4mm, weighs 1.19 kg and has enough juice for 3.5 hours of computing. Sony will be selling the netbooks for 60,000 Yen ($ 625) starting August 8th in Japan.
