Sony Japan has announced the USM-HX Pocket Bit Mini USB drives. It will be available in two colors namely executive black and premium white. The drive supports Windows Vista's Ready boost feature and comes with encryption and compression software. The drive comes with a clip and rotary cap. it is compatible with Windows and Mac.

The Sony USM-HX measures 14.5×32×2.7mm and weighs 1.5 grams. It will be available in 1GB and 2GB version from September 1st in Japan for 4000 Yen ($ 34) and 6200 Yen ($ 53).
