Sony unveils noise-cancellation high-performance headphones at IFA
When it comes to innovativeness in design, Sony seemed to have taken the cake in sound systems, with the 360-degree omnidirectional speakers that showed up at the IFA 2011, the Bluetooth-only SRS-BTV25 and iPhone-oriented RDP-V20iP, each with 13W worth of output all around the room, given that you place these in the center. Also, Sony pulled the veil of the MDR-NC100D in-ears headphones boasting noise-cancelation, chiseled out specifically for smartphones. Using 13.5mm drivers and sporting a 110dB signal-to-noise ratio, the headphones range between frequencies of 8Hz up to 23kHz!also, Sony launched its MDR-NC200D over-ear headphone set with similar noise cancellation and 40mm drivers instead with 103dB signal-to-noise ratios. A bunch of products good enough to leave most audiophiles smiling, we hail Sony’s unsung heroes at the IFA 2011.
