Sony PSP firmware ver 3.10 is out in Japan which enhances media capabilities of the portable console. With the upgrade users can watch videos MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 streamed from a base station running Location Free. Another addition is the dynamic volume leveller which adjusts sound output based on the recording levels. Connecting to Playstation Spot has been made easier, as the PSP detects the service and establishes the connection automatically. Furthermore you can connect to Playstation TV for downloading demos, videos and other content on Memory Stick. Finally there is the addition of Economic memory as a setting for web browsing which compensates on quality but uses less memory.

Less than 24 hours after its release it was decrypted by team C&D. Sony better bone up on its security or was someone asleep when they released this one?
