I had once before said that new gadgets are not just being introduced with brilliant new colors, but mostly for men who seem to have an affinity for brighter colors. Sony is launching its new range of PSPs in a choice of rainbow colors. The jazzy consoles come in red, yellow, green and blue. Wonder why they left out pink this time. Maybe they didn't want it to be so obvious, it can affect brand image you know.

The new range will be launched in March in Japan and will cost $223. For an additional $56, you can get a kit which includes a 4GB memory stick, private pouch and hand strap.
