Sony has updated the PS3 firmware to ver 1.3, the update includes support for the upcoming BD Remote controller which goes on sale tommorow (Dec 7th). In addition to this it adds HDMI output format setting in BD / DVD setting, HDD data can be backed up on other media like Memory Stick or SD card and finally an option to restore the PS3 to factory settings so you can put it up on Ebay.
