Sony Japan has announced the NV-U35 GPS, targeting bike owners the handheld GPS systems is weather proof making it ideal for hiking and trekking trips. Coming to the specs it has GPS with support for 3D view, 3.5 inch QVGA scratch resistant screen, 8GB of onboard memory, support for popular video, audio and image formats. It connects to the host via USB. The NV-U35 measures 112 × 17.8 × 79mm and weighs 176 grams. It will be available in April in Japan for 37,000 Yen ($ 400).
