Technically called the MRW62E S1/171 multi card reader, it reads 17 types of storage cards which includes Sony's Memory Stick range, SD and xD-Picture Card. It also comes loaded with the Drive Letter recognition software that makes it easy to recognize the different card formats when transferring data. This multi-card reader is MSW Vista, XP, 2000, MAC OS X Version 10.2 (and later) compatible and has a high-speed USB 2.0 connection plus its "plug and play" therefore a hassle free reader.

The MRW62E S1/171 multi card reader supports Memory Stick, Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick PRO, Memory Stick PRO Duo, MagicGate Memory Stick, Memory Stick Micro, CompactFlash, Microdrive, SmartMedia, xD-Picture Card, SD Memory Card, SDHC, miniSD Card, MultiMediaCard and RS-MMC. It comes with a two-year warranty and will be available from June 2007. The pricing is not known as of now.
