The Sony HDR-HC1 can record HD video in 1080/60i (1440x1080) on miniDV's!!! The most important aspect of this model is that Sony tries to render HD accessible for all, so this is a "compact" model (compared to everything else that is already available) with dimensions of 71x188x94mm and a weight of 680g. The HDR HC1 will cost around 1300 Euros and will be available Japan from July.
