Sony HD Radio with iTunes Tagging will be out this year
Sony is coming out with the XDR-S10HDiP HD Radio which boasts of iPod compatibility and is apparently the first tabletop radio of its kind from the company. iTunes Tagging allows you to save song information with the touch of a button while listening to an HD Radio station. The information is loaded into a "Tagged" playlist on the iPod, and when hooked onto a computer, the playlist shows up in iTunes, making it easy to purchase the tagged songs. The unit also comes with a wireless remote that gives full access to the iPod player menu. It also charges the iPod when you dock it and doubles up as a radio clock as well.
The Sony XDR-S10HDiP will be available this summer for about $180.
