Sony GIGA JUKE: Just ‘JUKE’ing

As Sony cook up more and more gizmos to keep up to the demands of the helpless have-nots all around this tech centered world, we have masterpieces like the Sony GIGA JUKE. Let’s focus on the NAS-50HDE bookshelf system first. This one comes with an 80GB drive to store files from your computer, ripped from CDs, or recorded from radio and analog sources. CDs can be ripped at an amazing 16x speed and you can even tag your tracks accordingly. A 4.3-inch color display can guide you through the process of hearing, playing, ripping, etc. The system can be used as a portable means of entertainment and can be synchronized with your Sony Walkman, Walkman phone, PSP or any other compatible MP3 player for that matter. Next on we have the sleek NAC-HD1E deck. It can do just about everything that the NAS-50HDE attempts, with a few pluses and minuses here and there. Owing to its small size, Sony has had to compromise on the presence of speakers. However, you do get 250GB of storage to exploit.

The NAS-50HDE will be made available in Europe by May this year while the NAC-HD1E will show up in the same continent by June.
