The awesome new line from Sony Ericsson is the XPERIA X1 featuring a QWERTY keyboard plus HSUPA. Of course the Windows Mobile 6 operating system adds to the excitement. Putting their energies to develop a multimedia and mobile web-communicating phone, the XPERIA brand is a fine example. The X1 features a 3-inch wide VGA (800 x 480) touchscreen display, 3.2-megapixel camera (with photo light), A2DP Bluetooth, aGPS, WiFi, and microSD with 400MB on board. It is a quad-band GSM/EDGE, and 900/1700/1900/2100MHz UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA (or 850/1700/1900/2100MHz for a US-bound model). Working the phone is pretty easy, touch, arc-sliding QWERTY, 4-way key and optical joystick all help navigate through.

Sony Ericsson's XPERIA X1 will be in "select markets" in the second half of 2008.
