
After the
F series Sony Japan has announced six new additions to its Bravia V and J series. The J series sport a resolution of 1,366×768 and the new models are available in 20", 26" and 32" sizes where the full HD V series will be available in 40, 46 and 52 inches respectively. The J series come with an analog and digital TV tuner, Ethernet port, 2 x HDMI, 1 x Ethernet and support a viewing angle of 178 degrees. The 32 inch model will be available in four colors - brown, red, white and black, it comes with two remote an advanced and a simple one. The high end V series support of resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 178 degree viewing angle and a 3000:1 contrast ratio. I/O terminals include 2 x HDMI, 1 x Ethernet, 1 x USB, Optical digital audio, etc. All the three models come with 2 remote controls and support EPG with compatible hardware. The new V series will go on sale in Japan by April 25 and the J series by March 20.
