Sony Alpha NEX-6 mirrorless camera packs Wi-Fi, offers 16-megapixel shots

Sony have introduce the Sony Alpha NEX-6 camera with a mirrrorless interchangeable lens. To spice things up they’ve also thrown in three additional E-mount lenses for NEX cameras. The camera, like most smart ones we’re seeing queuing up for release recently, comes with Wi-Fi connectivity and in-camera applications. Basically, adding to the benefits of the previous NEX-5R, we see a 16-megapixel sensor, a 2.3m dot OLED viewfinder and an external mode dial. The Sony Alpha NEX-6 premiers as the company’s first camera to make it on the refreshed Quick Navi Interactive control panel.

So all it takes is $1000 to get a hold of the Sony Alpha NEX-6 camera. They’re also adding a 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 retractable power zoom lens to make things fit in smaller spaces. Sans the lens the price drops to $850.
