Shiseido’s Digital Cosmetic Mirror is designed with Augmented Reality technology is for quick make up tips

The term ‘Augmented Reality’ is so frequently used these days, my curiosity to actually see something with this technology is peaked. In the latest news, Japan has got an AR system just for the ladies and some gents, depending on their lifestyle. It’s been called the Digital Cosmetic Mirror and has been designed by Shiseido. The mirror which acts as a monitor, first scans your face and then allows you to see what colors, shades etc. of make-up would look like on you without actually trying them on. But it’s not like those other booths that take your picture and show it with different hairstyles. The Cosmetic Mirror gives you tailored recommendations and paints make-up onto your image in real-time showing you instant results. Personally it seems like a great notion but it’s only going to have women standing in queues testing all the various combination's they can find, while their men stand impatiently around holding their shopping.
