sharp_108_lcd.jpg To ensure that CEO's and Board and Directors see their companys numbers clearly Sharp has launched the world’s largest commercially available LCD Monitor which is 108 inches across. The full HD 1080p LCD Monitor, features an Advanced Super View LCD panel that is manufactured at Sharp’s Kameyama Plant No. 2, the first plant in the world to use 8th generation glass substrates. The LB-1085 features 6.21 million pixels (1,920 x 1,080 x RGB) and a TFT (thin-film transistor) active-matrix drive system. It offers an array of inputs, including HDMI and DVI-I connectors. With a steep price tag of about $80,000 to $100,000 companies will require government aid to get one for the boardroom.

Update - The LCD Monitor is to be released in Mexico and not the USA. It has been out in the US since June 2008.
