Sharp Papyrus PW-TC900 electronic dictionary with a twist

The plain old black and white dictionary is history now with the Sharp PW-TC900, which features a 4.3 inch LCD display supporting a resolution of 480×272 pixels. Sharp has squezzed in a digital TV tuner which makes good use of the crisp display. The unit is equipped with a SD card slot for memory expansion and supports MP3 playback, Image viewing and E-Books. The display can be rotated 180 degrees so you can study or view TV at ease. Coming to its main porpose it has a English - Japanese dictionary with voice support and SD cards preloaded with similar content are readily available in Japan. The unit has a QWERTY keyboard maybe the next version will support Wi-Fi too.
The Sharp Papyrus PW-TC900 measures 132×91×22.5mm and weighs 21 grams. It will be available from December 8 in Japan for 50,000 Yen ($ 420)
