
KDDI Japan and Okinawa cellular have added the Sharp AQUOS W61SH phone to their line up. The super slim clamshell has a 90 degree rotating 2.8 inch (240 x 400) display. The display supports 260k colors, has a super high contrast ratio of 2000:1 reproducing colors at 120% NTSC ratio and a privacy filter to keep out prying eyes. No Japanese phone can be complete with a TV tuner the W61SH has a digital tuner with support for recording on Micro SD card upto 2GB. The phone has 100MB internal memory, 2 Megapixel auto focus camera, GPS, Felica, Bluetooth and Infrared.
The Sharp AQUOS W61SH will measures 48×104×19.9mm and weighs 131 grams. It will be available in three colors pink, white and black by January 2008.
