Sharp Japan has announced their LX series of LED televisions. To be made available in 40, 42, 52 and 60' inch sizes the LED panels sport a full HD resolution of 1,920 × 1,080 pixels, contrast ratio of 200,0000:1, 176 degree viewing angle and a white LED backlit which consumes 30% less power than its peers. Other features include a six speaker sound system which delivers 2.1 channel sound, Analog / Digital TV tuner, Ethernet port and 3 HDMI ports. The TV's come loaded with a new feature 'select fit' which detects light, color, brightness, type and time of the show and then analyses the video in real time thus delivering the best audio and video. The LED's will hit Japanese stores early next month.
