Sensacell's floor displays LED footprints

sensacell-floor.jpg Walking in your footsteps takes on a new meaning with Sensacell's new interactive floor. As you tread across it, the floor lights up in spooky LED footprints, kinda like shadowing the strider. You can find the floor gracing the entrance to the Spain Pavilion, "Comunitat Valenciana." The 250 Square foot floor system incorporates more than 1000 Sensacell HSI64-36-W interactive modules. Apparently each module encloses capacitive sensors and a LED lighting system. The sensors respond to motion and thus trigger the LED to emit light. The glass is 20 mm thick and thus capable of taking the visitor's weight.
