The X Nine has a 2.2 inch TFT with a 320 x 240 resolution. It has a 20 Gb hard drive, it plays the following formats MPEG-1/2, DivX 3.1/4.xx/5.xx, XviD and ISO MPEG-4 SP. It can record directly from AV equipment at 640 x 480 resolution. It can display JPEG and BMP images as slide show. Also present is a FM tuner and microphone. It connects to the host via USB 2.0, output can be viewed via AV out. The Lithium Polymer battery supports 12 hours of continuous playback, the battery can be charged via USB also. The X Nine measures 118x65x20mm and weighs 185 grams. It will be available from September 22 for 49,800 Yen ($ 450).
