From a recent job post, it has been found out that Microsoft is believed to be working to revamp Windows Mobile 7 and build it as a touch-optimized mobile OS from the ground up. Microsoft is probably in the early stage development of Windows Mobile 7. Microsoft maybe playing around with initial UI design ideas. Needless to say, we are cautiously optimistic that Windows Mobile 7 will bear the same touch-friendly motif.
