Sanyo has introduced a cool pocket camera with 1080p video recording facility at 30 fps. It allows for still image capture of up to 10 megapixels. Additional features include face detection, 3x optical zoom, digital image stabilization, video recording in MPEG4/H.264, dual microphones for stereo audio recording (@ 48KHz), SD/SDHC expansion slot and HDMI out. On the body of the camera is a pretty handy 2 inch display screen that may not be the biggest display for a camera but does make it good for you to capture and shoot. The camera is called the VPC-PD2BK. Expect it in September for $170.
