Sanyo Japan has announced the NV-SB250DT GPS unit which features a 4.5 inch high resolution touch screen and 2 Gigs of memory. It doubles as an entertainment center as you can play majority of audio and video files. Apart from this it functions as a portable TV so you can watch digital TV when on the move and with the EPG you can record your favourite programs too. The unit has a SD card slot for loading up the latest maps and songs. Step on the gas pedal and the system will warn you of speeding.

The Sanyo NV-SB250DT measures 83×143×34.5mm, weighs 340 grams and is powered by the car's cigar socket. It goes on sale in Japan from April 24 for 99,750 Yen ($ 835)
