At the Tokyo designer expo Sanyo showcased the Eneloop bell which looks more like a modern salt shaker but is actually a burglar alarm. Well it is not something for your home security but something which protects you from getting mugged. When in danger just pop open the top of bell and it sounds a loud alarm to scare away the crook. Adding a touch of Japanese gadgetry the unit has a built in GPS which transmits your position to a cell phone which in turn inform the authorities and your loved ones.

The Sanyo Eneloop bell is still a concept and its long before you can carry it.
