San Francisco skyline may darken by the Light Swat team
Although Las Vegas is the city of lights, San Francisco has been found guilty in un-necessary electricity usage in its skyscrapers. The city's Board of supervisors are sending 'LIGHT SWAT' teams in the night to take pictures of buildings to study idle lights left switched ON in commercial premises. Those found guilty will have to cough out some serious cash, with fines of $50 to $250 per offense, depending on the frequency of the problem. This is over and above the costs they already are paying in utilities.
If you live out there or anywhere for that matter, have mercy on your environment. Switch off when you're done using power, after all we all need to share power not waste it.
