What’s your best feature in a camera? In the Samsung WB700, its prominent feature is the 18x 24-432mm lens on a body that could screams size-Zero! Not that an 18x zoom isn’t impressive enough but Samsung decided to take the camera a notch higher with a Smart Zoom feature that digitally extends the zoom by 24x. And there you are, a new age zoom. Continuing zoom-jargon, the WB700 also boasts of an active noise cancellation for the lens movement when shooting movies, 16-megapixel CCD sensor 1/2.3-inch type (14 megapixels effective), a 3.0-inch LCD, 1080p movie capture (in H.264 file format), full manual controls, HDMI output and a 4.1x2.3x.98 inches (WHD). The WB700 takes the crown replacing the HZ35W and HZ30W compact megazooms. The Samsung WB700 is expected to make its debut in April for $299.99.
