Samsung's i780 is GPS-equipped

The Samsung SGH-i780 Windows Mobile 6 handset was first seen at the GITEX. They only released a few press shots but otherwise the details have been a bit scanty…until now. The i780 features a touchscreen-driven Professional alternative of Windows Mobile, it even has an "optical mouse" on the d-pad that provides the user with an actual on-screen pointer, plus there is integrated WiFi and GPS. What is not clear is that which carrier will host this phone. The odds are on AT&T (as the rumored BlackJack 2) and maybe it will lose the WiFi and opt for Euro HSDPA radio hardware for its North American counterpart.

There is no word on the official launch, but Sweden apparently expects Samsung SGH-i780 in early 2008.
