Samsung has introduced two new media players that go by the name of YP-U5 and YP-Q2. While the Q2 is an elaborate player with a 2.4 QVGA screen, the U5 is an audio stick with an OLED screen. The Q2 is available in black and white color options. Sound quality is pretty impressive thanks to the DNSe 3.0 sound enhancement technology that’s integrated into it. Besides this, It also has a FM radio with recording facility and a battery that has enough juice to entertain you for 50 hours, non-stop. The U5 on the other hand has USB connectivity as well as FM. Both players have an added level of interactivity in the design. The Q2 sports a Smart Button that can be configured as a shortcut button to launch any application while the U5 has a touchpad that’s placed besides the 1 inch OLED.

The Samsung YP-Q2 is available in two versions, 8 GB ($100) and 16 GB ($130) ; while the YP-U5 has 2 GB ($40) of internal memory. Both models should be available this month.
