Samsung Electronics displayed its latest MP3 player 'YP-Q1' at the KES 2008 in Seoul Korea. Equipped with a 2.4 inch TFT-LCD the unit comes with Samsung's proprietary DNSe 3.0 engine that provides higher quality sound with more natural effects than conventional methods do, the YP-Q1 can playback popular audio formats including MP3, WMA, OGG and FLAC, video formats such as WMA and MPEG4 and image formats such as JPG, BMP, GIF and PNG. Other features include FM radio, voice recording, text viewer and TTS function. Available in three colors black, white and silver the YP-Q1 offers 30 hours of music playing and 4 hours of video playing time. Available in Korea only for now the 4GB version goes for 119,000 KRW ($ 100), 8GB for 159,000 KRW ($ 130) and 16GB for 219,000 KRW ($ 180).
