Samsung WB1000 has analog indicators, 12.2 MP lens

Samsung_WB1000.jpg We have all gone back to the good old days of the analog revolution at some point in time or the other. In fact, I’m planning to replace the digital speedometer on my bike back to analog. There’s nothing like the thrill that builds with a hand rising above limits. The same can be said about the Samsung WB1000 which has analog indicators for battery and memory. This 12.2 megapixel shooter sports a three inch AMOLED display screen that can make the images captured by the 24-mm wide-angle 5x zoom Schneider-KREUZNACH lens. Videos can be recorded in H.264 format. Other features include image stabilization, ISO 3200 sensitivity (at 3MP resolution) and 1/2.33-inch CCD with 720p.

The Samsung WB1000 camera will cost about $418. I’m looking forward to some analog gauges to be added to cellphones and PMPs in the near future. Totally cool idea, isn’t it?
