The U700 slider by Samsung is so slim that it gives paranoids (like me) the creeps to handle them. However, their gorgeous features do drive my hands to feel the touch of a really cool cellphone. This slim-Jim comes with 3.6MBps HSPDA connection and EDGE connectivity and rides the GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz + 2.1GHz bands. With data speeds like that, who will not lust for these? It also has a 3 megapixel Auto Focus camera to capture your memorable moments. It provides with 20MB memory and a microSD expansion card slot. The 2.2” inch display speaks for itself. The U700 provides support for various file formats like MP3, ACC, eAAC+, WMA, WMDRM, MPEG4, H.263 and RM. It also has Bluetooth and USB connectivity and a wheel key for easy interaction. All these features are stuffed into the unbelievably slim 12.1mm body.

The Samsung U700 should be released in Europe by next month. No word as to when it will show up at Uncle Sam’s backyard and for how much.
