Keeping the end user in mind rather than competitive strategies, Samsung has spun out two cool camcorders that are designed to kill. The SMX-C14 and the SMX-C10 march in with uber cool, alien-like design with some of the slickest curves you would ever see in a camcorder, thanks to the ToCa (Touch of Colora) finish. Both cameras feature a swiveling 2.7 inch display, Samsung’s Active Angle Lens technology, 10x optical zoom 230,000 dot and more than 2 hours 40 minutes battery life for non stop recording of videos. They are also blessed with Samsung’s play-edit-sharing application called Intelli-studio as well as a thumbnail feature that makes searching a video easier. The difference between both the models is that the C14 features 16 GB of internal memory that can be expanded with a SD/SDHC memory card slot. This proves to be quite ample, thanks to the H.264 compression standard. The C10 on the other hand requires SD/SDHC media to record data.
Both, the Samsung SMX-C14 and the C10 will be available by July this year. The pricing however remains unannounced.
