Samsung showed off the Galaxy Apollo, the Froyo, QWERTY toting slider at IFA 2010

Samsung-GT-i5510-.jpg I’m beginning to feel very depressed with Samsung’s new devices. They all seem to have those girly rounded off features that aren’t as edgy as the original Galaxy or the Spica. They seem to be motivated by the Corby generation. The latest is from IFA where Samsung showcased another Froyo touchscreen device with a slide out QWERTY keypad. The new handset is the GT-i5510 aka Galaxy Apollo. It’ll be loaded up with a 1Ghz processor, 5-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth amongst all the other stuff you’d expect to find in today’s Android handset. It’s going to be making its way to Germany sometime in October via Vodafone and the rest of Europe around the same time. Since it’s not officially announced, there’s no pricing just yet.
