Another Samsung product straight from KES and this time it is a 2.2-inch 0.78mm-thick AMOLED display. It is perfect for use on Mobile phones and other media devices as it has a micro-second response time and can play video files 1,000 times faster than the conventional LCDs claims Samsung. As it does not require a backlight it can be much slimmer and lighter than existing LCD's. It can show 262k colors, has a ratio of 240 x 320, brightness of 200 cd/m2 and contrast ratio of 10000:1.

It is not known when Samsung will start mass production but with such displays the future sure looks bright.
