
Samsung’s aggressive strategy of launching more electronic devices this year could be an indication of its motive to be an electronics leader this year. Its latest product is a stylish e-book reader that is set to target the Kindle and Sony’s PRS-700 head on. The Samsung Papyrus is an A5 sized eBook reader that features a stylus for interacting with the screen and 512MB of memory for storing content. The eBook also acts as a notetaker, world clock, diary, memo taker, calculator, and contacts.
The Samsung Papyrus is estimated to cost around $299, in a range of colors. It will initially launch in Korea with US and UK launches following it later.
