Samsung Omnia Reloaded: Purple and new stuff

Samsung_Omnia.jpg Samsung has revealed a reloaded version of the i900 Omnia, with purple color to complement the already existing white and black versions. It comes with new security and social applications plus new home screen widgets and also includes a TV-out cable which is not available with the previous retail versions. The specifications Samsung Omnia remain the same with 3.2 inch WQVGA touch display, 5 megapixel camera, LED flash, Wi-Fi, HSDPA and GPS support. The internal storage remains the same at 8 and 16 GB. In case you new Samsung Omnia is stolen, you can tract it with SecureRed application which will be used to remote access and remote wipe the phone. mySpace, Facebook and Flickr are also integrated on the Samsung Omnia to enhance your social networking. SpaceMe, ExploreMe and PlaceMe, the three new services enable geo-referencing between your friends from the social networks and help share your common POI.

The Samsung Omnia will hit the markets of Italy and will cost Euros 469 or 600 US Dollars. We still don't have any information on when it will be available in other countries.
