We’ve heard rumors of a Samsung’s newest venture in smartphones, the Galaxy Q. the Korean electronics bigshot has now confirmed the phone, christened the Samsung Galaxy Note instead, and true to its name, this sweet phone lets users take down handwritten notes, with an S Pen, a Stylus of sorts. Using a 5.3-inch HD Super AMOLED Display (WXGA 1280×800, 285ppi), the first of its kind used in a phone, this one sports a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 8MP camera with LED flash, 2MP camera on the front, full HD video recording / playback support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, optional NFC, A-GPS, microSD card slot and a 2,500mAh battery, good enough to stay alive longer than most smartphones out there today.

And with this, Samsung seems to have revived the use of the good old Stylus for smartphones with the Galaxy Note!
