Sound technology guru SRS and electronics giant Samsung's mobile division have signed a multi-year and multi-technology agreement. This means that in the future you can expect a load of improvements and new technologies in your Samsung mobiles' its video and music applications along with clear and crisp communication in noisy environment. Let's hope the latter is helpful when you are clubbing with friends instead of studying for your math test. Or maybe not. Moving on, the new deal will benefit the high-end mobile users by offering a 5.1 surround sound over headphones for a better multimedia experience. The phone will offer deep, rich bass and high frequency definition and make mobile music more natural with depth and clarity. It's probably Samsung's way of saying we are getting music INTO our phones so that we don't need to waste too much money on producing a device particularly for music. Like a hint to Apple?
