Samsung i7110 officially announced and will run on Symbian S60
The day has finally dawned for the official launch of the new Samsung i7110, as covered earlier the phone features The Symbian S60 3rd Edition a 3.5G device with a GPS receiver, a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, a multimedia player, microSD expandable memory (up to 16GB) and an FM radio. The i7110 also features a 240 x 320 pixel OLED screen capable of displaying up to 262,000 colors. The OLED technology surely helps in increasing the battery life of the device. It measures 118 x 52 x 13 mm, which is a bit more pocket friendly than some similar smartphones. The I7110 is equipped with a video Player (which supports DivX / H.263 / H.264 / WMV /MP4, RV), and a music Player (MP3 / AAC / AAC+ /eACC+ / WMA / RealAudio).
Samsung claims that you can squeeze 11 hours of talk-time out of this, or leave it on standby for over 2 weeks. However, there is no price quote for the new gadget but rest assured you would hear it first from us.
