Samsung a877 images have popped up on the net showing the company’s newest offering for mobile phone consumers. The handset will feature a 3.2-inch WQVGA AMOLED touchscreen that could provide improved color contrast and brightness compared to typical LCD screens. A slide-out QWERTY keyboard is available for messaging, while a 3-megapixel camera supports geotagging.

The Samsung a877 is also rumored to offer a Telenav GPS navigator, full HTML browser, Bluetooth connectivity, MP3 playback and a TouchWiz user interface. Quad-band GSM and EDGE networks are supported for voice, while the data can also be transferred using the HSDPA standard.
