Samsung 8-GB moviNAND flash memory for mobile phones
Samsung have got into a crazy stream of unbelievable cellphone enhancements. After AMD’s attempt of producing X-Box graphics on cellphones, we have Samsung’s 8-GB moviNAND chips all ready to slip into the ever popular phones of our day. This is a major advance as cellphones will soon be able to store as much as iPods do. The last best by Samsung was 4GB. Having it doubled is a welcome move and we cannot wait to place our hands on this ever awesome investment. The moviNAND line consists of four 50-nanometer, 16-gigabit flash modules, a high-speed Multimedia Card (MMC) controller, and related firmware.
The data transfer rate is quite good with 52MB/s. We hope that this hits us without much of a price hike.
