A Nokia spokesperson has confirmed that it has temporarily suspended the sales of the North American variant of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic smartphone because of its issues concerning connectivity to 3G networks. The cause of this issue is being looked into currently. According to Wall Street Journal, the phone is having difficulty in connecting to 3G networks in New York and Chicago. But the device is working well on the 3G networks in Dallas and Miami but a spokesperson declined to comment why it works on some networks and not on all. The problem is exclusive to North America and any customers experiencing problems connecting to 3G networks are advised to contact Nokia customer care. We really hope they can find a solution to this.
