There is new technology out, something that has a very sci-fi movie hangover. The iris-recognizing mouse from Qritek Japan Co. has a lens mounted on the side of its body, where "an internal sensor compares his or her iris with pre-registered iris information." Only after the user clears this procedure can he access the restricted files.

The iris-recognizing mouse costs 37,800 yen or $315.
