Princeton Japan has unveiled the Soundwall speaker system for the iPod. Sporting four speakers on each side the unit sports an iPod dock in the center and a backlit LCD at the top displaying track details and other information. The 2.1 channel system has neodyium speakers delivering an output of 4W x 2 channels and at the back rests a sub woofer 63mm wide with 15 watts of output. The dock can be connected to a PC via USB for data transfer. It is powered by an AC adapter or batteries, and comes with a fully functional remote control.

The Princeton PSP-MSSSW measures 218×83.8×190mm and weighs a hefty 1190 grams. It will be available in Japan from mid January for 15,800 Yen ($ 130).
