PQI Taiwan has presented a no frills budget DAP the JoyTone U801. It has a single line LED display with blue backlight, the U801 has no onboard memory as you have to load up SD / MMC cards (upto 2 GB). You can choose from six preset equalizer modes to suit the music you are playing. It can playback MP3 and WMA files and can be used a card reader too. Pricing and availability of the PQI JoyTone U801 is not known.
