Pomera DM10 costs like a laptop works like a notepad
When setting out to write a gripping novel most writers face the well-known writer's-Block, especially when they are staring at their computer screens. It's not uncommon that the best ideas come when a writer is exploring the outdoors or just traveling. Today owning a phone sure can help in a writer taking notes and sending short emails. However completing a chapter of a novel on a phone is something we are yet to see happen. Even the simplicity of the iPhone cannot make it the best medium to write freely. Now however, a new device called the Pomera DM10 can let you enjoy the functionality of a notepad with the portability of a laptop. A laptop doesn't have a 20 hour battery life (on 2 AAs!) or 2 second startup time, and it's not going to be significantly larger and heavier, if only in a relative sense. It does nothing else other than take notes.
The Pomera Digital Memo DM10 will be available in Japan around November 10, but I fail to understand why would someone shell out $270 for a device that only takes notes? especially since the Asus EEE PC costs just $30 more.
