PLX Devices introduce Brainwave interface for Apple’s finest

XWaveFront.jpg The world’s first brainwave interface accessories make it to the iPad, the iPhone and the iPod, thanks to PLX Devices. It’s called the XWave (why not iWave?). The compact device has to be worn on your head just like you wear a headphone. When paired with the supporting applications that come with it, the XWave will help you ‘control your mind and the world with it’. Conventionally this device used to be used by medics to treat epilepsy and other patients. After sensing electrical impulses that originate from your brain, these devices change the signal to digital signals.

“The human brain is the most powerful, complex thing in the universe, and for the first time, we’re able to harness its amazing power and connect it to everyday technology,” said Paul Lowchareonkul, Founder and CEO of PLX Devices Inc. “With the development of 3rd party apps, the potential for innovation is limitless.” The hardware will cost you $100 and will be available from October onwards. The App will be available for free.
